THE Saxony CondominIums

Client: Landform Development Group
Size: 155,000 sq.ft
Budget: $25 Million
Contract: Hybrid CM/Project Management
Location: Burlington, Ontario

PROJECT SUMMARY:

Located on Elgin Street in the heart of downtown Burlington, the Saxony Condominiums is a six-storey, 61-suite luxury boutique development featuring three levels of private underground parking and exquisite interiors by Mike Niven Interior Design Inc. This impressive building has a cast-in-place concrete structure with premium masonry and decorative aluminum cladding on the exterior.

Sitting across from the Burlington Performing Arts Centre and adjacent to Burlington City Hall, the busy downtown location has added unique complexities to the project requiring extensive traffic control measures and additional safety endeavours to ensure minimal impact to the surrounding properties and the general public. Additionally, the build-out to lot lines necessitates sound planning throughout all stages of construction.
